Rep. Alan Grayson addresses Congress

Democratic Representative Alan Grayson stirred waves in Congress recently with some comments regarding the GOP’s view on the Health Care Plan.

After Obama’s recent address to Congress regarding the current health care proposal. Representative Grayson allegedly found that the health care plan was a “blank piece of paper.” In response, Grayson compiled a short presentation of what he viewed what Republicans plan to do about Health Care in America:

1) Don’t Get sick

2) And if you do get sick…

3) Die Quickly

He later elaborates that the Democratic health care plan is, “If you have a health care plan, were going to make it better. If you don’t have a health care plan, we will provide it to you. If you can’t afford health care insurance, then we will help you afford health care insurance.”

Later Representative Grayson addressed Congress again to deliver an “apology” that was demanded by Republicans.

In his address he wanted to, “Apologize to the dead.” He cited that a recent Harvard study found that 44,789 people die every year because they lack health insurance. 10 times more than people he died in Iraq, and 10 times that died in 9/11. He said to take a look at this document and, “Read it and weep.”

He ended the speech by calling on the Republican and Democratic members of the house to, “Do our jobs for the sake of America, for the sake of these dying people and their families. I apologize for the dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner to end this Holocaust in America.”
